Hospital Master has a simple and elegant goal as a company: design adjustable and hospital beds from the user’s point of view. For too long the adjustable hi-low hospital beds that were offered by manufactures were dismal, designed almost exclusively for caregivers such as nurses and attendants. The beds were too high for proper independence for the patient and just downright hideous looking. Since the mid-1990’s Hospital Master has designed beds that allow for full independence. To accomplish this, Hospital Master designed beds were the standard minimum height from the top of the mattress to the floor is a remarkable 18 inches, providing easy in-and-out access for the user and making transfers to wheelchairs and other such devices easy. And the hi-low mechanism each of our beds comes installed with allows the bed to raise 12 inches to allow easy transfer back into a wheelchair or similar device, and to simplify care-giving. Each bed is made to order in the United States of America, ensuring the highest quality build and enabling you to customize the options for your specific needs.
